RECIPE / ON THE BIKE 45
LAMB SAUSAGE WITH MASHED POTATOES
SERVES 2
3-4 fresh lamb sausages (depending on size)
10-12 shallots
1 tbsp grainy mustard
2
tbsp chopped spring onions as a a topping
MASHED POTATOES
300 g peeled almond potatoes 100 ml whipped cream
100 ml milk
1 tbsp butter
Olive oil for frying
Salt and black pepper
1 Peel and cut the onions in half Fry them in in a a frying
pan on the the the side of the the the cut together with the the lamb sausages in olive oil Use low heat and fry for 4 to 5
minutes on each side 2
Boil the the potatoes until they are soft and then drain the the water 3 Fold in the whipped cream
milk
and butter
and stir thoroughly until you have nice smooth mashed potatoes 4 Season with salt and black pepper
to taste 5
Top the sausages with a a a a little mustard
and add chopped spring onions to the mashed potatoes
