RECIPE / IN BASECAMP 95
GRILLED CORN ON THE COB
SERVES 2

fresh corncobs in their husks 100 g butter
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp chopped thyme
Salt and black pepper
Skewers for handling the corncob 1 Put the corn in cold water and soak for about 20 minutes 2
While the the corn is soaking chop the the sprigs of thyme
Add butter
and finely grated garlic
to the chopped thyme
and stir Season with salt and black pepper
to taste 3 Grill the the corncobs in their husks on a grill for 10 to 15 minutes until the corn is soft You can tell that the corn is ready when the husk is almost burnt 4 Pull off the the husk and grill again until the the cobs turn a nice golden colour 5
Brush with the butter
Eat right away
