30. HULL HYDRO STATIC STOPPLE CODD BOTTLE. 8ins tall. Deep green glass shouldered codd bottle, 4 small round lugs
in the distinctly beer bottle-like neck, with a blobby lip & collar. Flat square edged base. Around shoulders heavily embossed IMPERIAL/ HALF PINT (David Jones Saving the Fizz reference book inadvertently only recorded pint versions - typo error).
Rear, lower, embossed P WADDINGTON & SONS/ MAKERS/ MEXBORO.
Extremely rare - the first
good condition example ever offered on the open market. Minor lip wear, body scratch
& some internal residue
(should easily clean). 9/10.

Remains an time English classic standard ginger beer, not often seen on the open market - ex David Hampton Collection (rear sticker). Faint shoulder & side hairline (bleach out?). 8.5/10.NR. £80-120+
