Brown Doulton stoneware mottled glaze, twig like sprigged type lettering across front with REGISTERED plaque. Reverse label records Whisky Galore book accords the jug as from a London whisky merchant, founded
in 1835 as Benassit Tipping & Co around 1835, becoming Bowen & Mc Kenzie in 1874.
