the glass). Extremely heavily embossed both sides with company address & warning
etc, Rylands Patent/ Sole Maker/ Rylands Barnsley. Britannia pict. t.m. to base. This is a completely uncleaned example of this
London classic plus so superbly embossed - very good. 9/10. NR. £80-120+

7.5ins tall. Name & place heavily embossed across front with large entwined initials. To bottom rear Redfearn Bros/ LD/ BARNSLEY. Across rear shoulder PAT 687307. Across the neck 4 curved strengthening ribs (Shaws patent 1907). Mid green marble. Quite slight wear & internal residue - easy cleaning job? 9/10. NR. £80-100+

4/ Sole Maker/ Dan Rylands/ Barnsley (c. 1888-97 before becoming a Ltd company). A very fine uncleaned example but what makes this an exceptional offering is the very pale yellow amber lip colour (normally a deep red). Slight marks, as dug, no damages. 9/10 NR. £250-300+
151. SOUTH YORKSHIRE AERATED WATER CO HUDDERSFIELD BARRET & ELERS PATENT BOTTLE. 9.1ins tall, aqua glass, large wooden plug stopper with intact rubber ring. Very heavily embossed across the front, around the bottom THOMAS BARRON MAKERS MEXBORO. Full glass sheen (not polished). The wonkiest lip I’ve ever seen on such - minute inside flake. Tiny bottom edge pin head nick wonderful example of its type. David Walker Barker base sticker. NR. £20- 30+
