131. SEA FOAM BRAND POTTED DELICACIES LONDON POT LID. (APL p264). 3.8ins diam. A truly wonderful ornate brown
transferred lid with a very ‘period’ & stylish outer border & dolphin riding winged cherub pictorial asymmetrically placed
in the top sector. One small pin head nick to the bottom edge (see easyliveauction. com) which does
not really detract. Features old label
to underside “dug
at Langley by Grace” (referring to the late Grace Narraway). A rare offering. (9/10) NR £150- 180+
