Very ornate asymmetric, crisply struck, transfer promoting the wonderful ‘Waverley/ Potteries’ products ”Manufacturers/ Of/ Vitrified Weather/ And/ Acid Proof/ Stoneware” this famed company made, now much revered by collectors worldwide as exemplary in their field. Lovely ‘B/ & Co) featured in a typical Buchan surround. Buchan p.m. It is believed this could be the single example ever recorded so an incredibly significant offering. 141. MEN IN BOAT TOOTH PASTE POT LID. 2.7ins diam. An
exceptionally well struck sharp transfer depicting two men in a
boat, waters edge surrounded by trees, with ‘TOOTH PASTE’
in an angled banner across the centre. Decorative outer border. Very minor stain under side &
a side of bottom edge flake. Displays superbly. ((8.5/10) NR

LID. 2.65ins diam. Fishermen in a large sailing boat, hills
and trees in the background. Asymmetric design of stength. As dug, still remnants of dirt underneath, and a little light
staining. No damages. (9/10) NR £30-40_

CHERRY TOOTH PASTE LIVERPOOL POT LID. 2.8ins diam. Bunch of cherries pict. to centre, surrounded by letters in ornamental banners & Ayrton Saunders t.m. each side. A few outer edge/ side glaxe nibbles and bottom edge small flake. (8.5/10) NR £20-30+.
144. BEDFORDS SWEET HONEYSUCKLE TOOTH PASTE POT LID & BASE. 2.7ins diam. An absolutely delightful example of this ‘classic’ very decorative UK pot lid and base - both completely emblazoned with a brown transfer - lettering to top honeysuckle pictorial to centre, the entire lid and base covered in a foliate design, the base carrying a rectangle ‘Warranted pure and of/ English manufacture.’ Another Grace dug lid but sadly
the tip name scratched off. Small bottom edge side flake - see
