An utterly delightful small sized utility type container, in shape similar to a Bellarmine (minus masks) with bulbous central body section, slightly flared foot, collared lip, crudely hand applied handle. Embodies so much variety in the salt glaze effect/ colours/ tiger type etc. Several in manufacture kiln touch marks & the wonkiest,
off round, lip I’ve ever seen? Mentioning base nibbles (old) detracts not one bit from the piece - an absolute joy! Three base labels (hand written by David Walker Barker) one states EARLY 17th/ CENTURY/ MINIATURE/ STONEWARE/ BOTTLE. A visual joy? 8.8/10? NR. £200-300+
