An unusual arched POISON worded variant. Base reg’d. 391192 which is 1902. A

220. PORTSMOUTH HOSPITAL POISON BOTTLE. (DP p115) 5.5ins tall, cobalt blue, vertical ribbing. Indented centre panel embossed POISON/ ROYAL PORTSMOUTH HOSPITAL. Slight dullness to parts of the glass, but a very rare regional offering. (9.5/10) NR £40- 60+

a very attractive looking, rarely seen for sale, bottle? (10/10) NR £30-40+
    This bottle apears to be a modified version of one patented in 1899
by John Martin (reg no 334745, Deadly Pleasures p61). No marked examples with registry details are known but in most respects
 this bottle fits. Very few are known.
221. TRIANGULAR POISON BOTTLE. (DP p61) 3.75ins tall, cobalt blue. Boldly embossed POISON on front panel, vertically, with ribbing all round, vertical ribbing to one other panel, third side plain. 1589 to base. A very
