Hall Hardy. The ointment was very popular allowing Hardy to leave over £13k in his will when he died

7. BENTINCKS BLISTER CELLADEMA POT LID.
3ins diam. Blue transfer featuring a horses head to centre - with two animals heads each side! Varied lettering between
three borders. This veterinary pot lid was used to package a cure-all for horses and marketed by the maverick proprietor
Harry Bentinck Budd around 1895. He was declared bankrupt in 1899. Blow images up online for close scrutiny. Very rare. (9/10)

pots at 2/9d. There are three
variations of pot lids
known all depicting
a child-like image
of a house.
