Unbelievably intact super thin wrap around string rim, re annealed lip, super thin wrap around - no damages - crude. Attractive neck striations. Deep pontilled kick up - iridescent, body has an even slightly dull finish. Various David Walker Barker base stickers. A wonderful example of its type. NR. £250-300+

dark green English mallet. Re annealed lip with hand applied wrap around string rim. Stunning overall full sheen, with just a patch of minor dullness one side. S3653. NR. £60-80+
  241. FLATTENED ENGLISH BLACK GLASS BOTTLE. 8.1ins tall. Dense black glass, flattened form with curved shoulders, long bulbous neck, collared lip. Hand written David Walker Barker sticker records - flattened whiskey (?) c. 1825 from Banningham old Rectory Bonham/ March 2004 £168 (slightly illegible?). Pontilled base kick up. Certainly an extremely unusual & rare form. NR.

244. ENGLISH BLACK GLASS MALLET WINE BOTTLE. 8.7ins tall. Dark green glass, wonderful large air bubbles especially in the neck (stretched) with double collar lip. Kick up, base pontil. Couple of tiny DWB stickers. An exceptional condition example of its type - David had good taste? 9.8/10. NR. £60-80+
