250. ISLE OF WIGHT SEALED WINE BOTTLE. 12ins tall. mid to light green glass, three part mould, elegant champagne shape body, tooled lip, applied string rim. Base kick up, rough pontil. Absolutely enormous mid bodied seal beautifully scripted - from Sandown Fort. NR. £60-80+
251. YORK SEALED WINE BOTTLE. 11.9ins. A fine heavy three part black glass cylinder. Collared neck - some remnants of closure substance. Very well struck shoulder seal J MELROSE/ WINE/ MERCHANTS/ YORK. No damages, full original sheen. NR. £60-80+
248. MINIATURE BOLS SEALED WINE BOTTLE. 5.1ins tall. Black glass/ dark green. Cylinder form, slightly bulbous neck, lovely applied blobby lip/ string rim. Very crisp chunky seal with the crudest right side/ blobs of glass etc - very appealing.
Underside bruise really doesn’t detract - super looker! NR. 8.5/10. £40-60+
