Nobody maybe comprehends the
enormity putting on a National?
A smaller 1 day Bottle Show/ Fair
organiser maybe knows the trials &
tribulations - met & solved.
But the Elsecar July w/e is on a quite
different, more costly, complex,
scale.
I take huge pride presenting the only
2 day UK Fair, it’s built & matured - now
a unique International showcase luring like minded
devotees, the Saturday Social a ‘core’ element.
Other countries have Nationals & I draw comparisons,
but for me the Saturday Market social camaraderie
epitomises our UK one - still my raison d’etre.
Other countries do it rather differently.
Everyone is asking how many more can AB do?
It’s massively time consuming, utterly draining &
stressful but my biggest concern is ALL costs have
risen dramatically = struggled to keep charges down.
Few people actually give a damn about what it costs
me, or involves, taking it for granted, however serious
thought must be given to how we move forward,
moreso given Blg 21 will be back next year - whatever
that may hold.
ANYONE wishing to scribe thoughts & ideas I will,
as always, put into the melting pot.
