MALLET BOTTLE. 7.6ins tall. Burton p 642
records this sold from the Fortunatus collection in
1980 & again by BBR in July 2003 £7,300. There is
a possible Dartmouth connection to the Holdsworth
family? Dark green glass, long tapering neck, tooled
lip (minor decorking outside flake), pointed string rim
below deep kick up & base pontil. Large mid body
front shoulder seal RH/ 1733 (body crack lover left).
Some surface wear, but
a very rare sealed form.
