Welcome back! Words do not describe the great feeling of seeing
everyone back together in person. The rooms were filled with the sounds of networking and comradery. Delegates from across the country enjoyed an event filled with incomparable education, social gatherings, and a tremendous trade show. The Canadian Conference took place in outstanding Vancouver, British Columbia, at the elegant Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Thank you to all the sponsors and every delegate that came to the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference to make it special.
EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMMING
The education program was packed with industry leading topics and speakers. Thanks to the Exclusive Education Sponsor, Syngenta, for making it possible to provide such an inspiring speaker line up. The conference Keynote Speaker, Joe Roberts, told a story of resilience, determination, and perseverance.
Joe was living on the street, addicted to substances, and decided to change his life for the better. Joe said, “The hardest thing I have ever lifted in my life, was my hand for help.” He has since graduated several educational programs and become the President and CEO of
an extremely successful multimedia company. He decided to pay it forward by walking across Canada with a shopping cart in the name of youth homelessness prevention. Maclean’s Magazine named him as one of, “10 Canadians who make a difference.” Joe was also recognized by the Senate of Canada with their Canada 150 Medal. Joe’s inspiring rags to riches story left everyone with a little to think about with regard to tapping into their unlimited potential.
Following the Keynote there was one incredible education session after another, providing important Continuing Education Credits for attendees as well as soft skills for leadership growth. With heavy hitters like, Dr. Frank Rossi, Dr. Brandon
