3. Optimize for Local SEO and
Social Media
A consistent presence on Google
Maps, Social Media sites, and other
directory sites will drastically
improve your results because
Google relies on these platforms to
learn more about your business
and validate that it is real. Ensure
your profiles across these sites are
consistent, featuring the same
website, address, phone number,
and contact information. Moreover,
the more active you are on these
platforms, the more credit you will
earn with Google.
4. Optimize your Content
Once you have the technical basics
above covered, it is time to develop
your content strategy. Start by
brainstorming questions that users
might ask. Think of questions that
are relevant to your course, for example: Best Public Courses in [City]?
Or What are the best courses for [Experience Type]?
Next, develop content plans to get this content on your website. This
could mean expanding pages or creating new pages entirely. Alternatively,
you could launch a blog with weekly or monthly blog posts directed at

should start today.
