The VPA Souvenir Committee is happy to present Vishwamanava Volume 16 !

Souvenir Committee members Lalitha Lohith, Dr. Anasuya Swamy and Vani Anand
worked hard to compile and release this Souvenir.

VPA thanks Abhimaani Publications and its Managing Director Sri. T. Venkkatesh
(Rajajinagar, Bangalore) for publishing Vishwamanava 2019.

What a show the Garden State VPA put on for all of us at the 16th VPA Convention in
Princeton, NJ! It was a mesmerizing, three-day Vokkaliga culture- fest filled with attendees
from all over the U.S. & Canada; luminaries from Karnataka; authentic Vokkaliga cultural
events; scrumptious ‘khara oota’ and ‘thindi’; engaging Business Forum, CME, Golf and
so much more. No wonder many of you were heard saying that this was the best VPA
Convention ever!

For the souvenir, we primarily sought literary articles from VPA members that would
inspire and inform our younger generation in making pertinent choices regarding their
future careers. We are delighted to tell you we received a slew of informative articles in
this regard. VPA children also sent us engaging entries. We sincerely thank all of you who
took the time to write and submit your remarkable articles.

Our 16 VPA Convention was blessed by the presence of our Pujya Nirmalananda

Swamiji, who along with our Karnataka Chief Minister Sri. H.D. Kumaraswamy inaugurated
the Convention.

Our VPA President and NJ resident, Dr. Babu Keelara’s dynamic leadership in planning
and implementing the event resulted in this exciting, multi-faceted, and thoroughly
enjoyable 3-day Convention. It was a smooth, cohesive and invigorating event.

Our Convention Chairperson, Mr. Ramesh Manjegowda (Rameshanna to everyone) with
his genial, approachable personality worked hard with a small army of young, energetic
