The War Admiral Golf Course is a semi-private facility that provides a completely different experience from
it’s sister course. War Admiral plays across cool season turf, formal rectangular tees, and mature stands of
forest.
While all of War Admiral’s golf features were constructed with fill soil given the site’s elevation restrictions,
the ground was sculpted to provide the appearance that the greenside pitching hollows and bunkers were
excavated. This design scheme provides enhanced shadowing, framing, and shot value across the flat site.
