Planting instructions
for black pine (pinus nigra)
1 Place the seeds in a container with warm
water for 24 hours. Plant them in a shallow
hole in a pot with damp soil mixed with
sand (proportion 3:1).
Sprinkle the surface with a bit of sand

and sprit with water.
Place the plant pot in a shady spot. When

the seeds start to sprout (after 10-20 days),
provide them access to daylight and
moderate amount of water, avoid too much
sun exposure.
After about 2 years of growing in the plant

pot, place the seedlings into the ground,
preferably in autumn (accordingly to your
local planting regulations).
