We are pleased to introduce a brand new material to our range

Bio-D is a new biodegradable leather imitation material from which we can make a full range of
promotional merchandise. It has a soft touch imitation leather grain and is Vegan friendly.

Bio-D properties are that it will 90% biodegrade in 180 days in compostable conditions.
(The full explanation is in Tab 1 on next page).
Many PU or Leather items are produced using a range of component materials, boards, linings, zips etc. For this range we are removing all
non-degradable materials and will be using only grey cardboard or materials that itself can biodegrade. This board can also be recovered through
composting and biodegradation according to EN 13432. The designs therefore contain simple lines and are uncluttered by unnecessary components.
Conveying the Sustainable Message

The products can carry a small Bio-D logo on the back to advertise to the user that the item is biodegradable.
Or we can use terms such as “I am Biodegradable” or simply “Biodegradable”.
Your preference will need to be known and included on proofing templates. This will carry an additional emboss charge.
We can also offer information cards printed on recycled stock, that detail the sustainable advantages of this material and range. These can
include the client’s brand or logo. Again, this should be requested at quote stage as it incurs a small charge and included on proof approval.
We are running 6 colours to launch with: Branding

Bio-D leather imitation, functions like our existing PU leather
imitations, in that it is durable and brands exceptionally well with a
natural colour change deboss. We can print, but advise to promote
the natural debossed effect and avoid ink use.
