Cotton
Meet the undisputed ‘king’ of the global textiles industry
thanks to its many favourable qualities and versatility.
Cotton is the world’s most used natural fibre and is procured
from cotton plants found in tropical and subtropical regions all
around the world.
There are three steps taken to transform the fluffy fibres into a
beloved fabric. First, a cotton gin is used to separate the cotton
fluff from the plant seed, then these are spun into a yarn and,
finally, this thread is woven with a loom to create an
eco-friendly material which we use to make many of our bags.
Its strength, durability and the fact that it is easy to print on,
makes cotton one of our most popular materials and a true
staple in the textile industry.
