Tuamotu Archipelago
T uamotu Archipelago composed totally by coral atolls that is ring-shaped coral islands surrounding a lagoon. The largest is
the world’s biggest spanning an area of the Pacific Ocean Rangiroa, and the other main atolls are Fakarava, Anaa, Kaukura,
roughly the size of Western Europe. It is away from the mainstream Taaroa and Tikehau. Most of the attractions are centered around
touristic circuit, but the distance doesn’t make it for lack of comfort the four main atolls. The region was originally called Paumotus,
in any way. The Tuamotu contain some of the most amazing sub- which means the “Subservient Islands”, until a delegation from the
