HOW OUR TRIPS WORK
This brochure is intended to inspire you to travel and explore your world. We hope you gain a better sense of Island Expeditions, our
expertise and what’s involved with our trips. In these pages we’ve outlined the geography and ecology of the region and provided
a glimpse into the range of activities and cultural experiences you’ll enjoy when you travel with Island Expeditions. Your trip details
– departure dates, trip length and costs can be found in the accompanying brochure supplement and day by day trip itineraries are
accessed on our website www.islandexpeditions.com
Most trips start at the International Airport in either Belize or in Cancun, Mexico. We’ll meet you on arrival the day before the trip is
scheduled to begin, on what we call Day 0; this is your day for international travel, to meet up with your fellow travellers and settle in for
the adventure ahead. Delicious meals, whether prepared by our chefs at a remote atoll basecamp or a small eco-resort in the Yucatan are
included most places we stay. Specialized gear, expert guiding and a kaleidoscope of activities included in your trip are also part of the
exceptional adventure value. Your next step is to visit our website where you can link to detailed itineraries and a wealth of information and
images depicting the trip experiences. Supporting our online resources, our Home Office has great people, who have first- hand, in-depth
knowledge of all the trips we offer and are dedicated to helping you with each step of your trip selection and planning.
