                                  Saba, mystery in a nutshell

You have to look carefully to spot the island of Saba in an atlas. A minuscule dark green dot in

the Caribbean Sea. Green, because it really is green. Every shade of green, even. Not only because
of the vegetation, but also because of the character of the island and its inhabitants. The densely

wooded flanks of an extinct volcano boldly rise more than eight hundred meters above the azure

Caribbean Sea. Even when the sky is completely blue, the summit of Mount Scenery is veiled in a
                                  thin blanket of clouds.

Saba is an exceptional holiday destination. You will not find mass tourism, wide-ranging facilities
at all-inclusive resorts or miles of pearly white beaches. But you will find overwhelmingly beautiful

nature, a fabulous underwater world, and a local population who add a whole new dimension to the

concept of hospitality. Because the experience is so intense. Saba is eco-tourism. The Sabans prefer
only to share this secret with guests who genuinely choose it for the purity of existence.

                                  ‘The unspoiled queen’

The 1,900-strong population of Saba are proud to call their island ‘The unspoiled queen’.

                                  She deserves this title.
