With the grace of Almighty, management and staff these are the pride moments for the school that school has completed 26 years. This silver
jubilee anniversary marks a major milestone for our school which had a humble beginning as a kindergarten school
with only 10 students in 1994. As the school has grown from a small sapling to a huge tree, we are thankful to Almighty
on this momentous occasion and to DAV College Managing Committee. On the completion of 26 years, we are
narrating our own Story of success, struggle and strife through a play “SAFAR” which will be presented at
completion of Silver Jubliee programme.
This struggle taught us patience, perseverance which lead to persistent performance. This school was
a dream perceived by DAV College Managing Committee for uplifting the level of all the sections of society which
turned into reality. The school which once had a single classroom has turned out to be a school with imposing building
with beautiful and sprawling campus today. Reaching the silver anniversary is a testimony to our own legacy of
happy, safe and vibrant learning. It is also testimony to the unwavering commitment to quality and holistic education
that has been demonstrated by the school over the decades which has translated into consistently excellent results of
school.
Further making academic results is an arduous journey for us with the parents who cannot guide or
teach students at home. Dedication & Commitment have always been the ethos of our school. All our students have
blossomed into beautiful flowers and spreading their fragrances throughout the world because of the ethos they have
learned from this school. Education is the most important gift that you can receive. It ensures a life full of
opportunities and lessens the challenges that you face in life. The more knowledge you get the more opportunities are
created in your career. Our school instills confidence amongst students, infuses courage and provides opportunities to
the students.
The mission of the school, to provide quality and holistic growth of the students has flourished over the
years. Our pledge is to do everything in our ability to support our students and to make them the best they can be. I owe
the success of the school to my devoted, committed and efficient team who work tirelessly engenders unmatched loyalty. Efficient and hardworking team has
enabled the students to achieve the targets. We have the blessings of a big guiding force behind us i.e DAV College Managing Committee and kind support of The
Punjab Kesari Group. All DAV schools are working under one umbrella i.e DAV College Managing Committee which is scaling new heights of glory especially
under the able guidance of our worthy president Padam Shri Poonam Suri ji and Dr. Nisha Peshin who have always supported us amidst challenges and during
difficult times. This has enabled us to face challenges, hard time and it has inculcated in ourselves value of concern, commitment and developed in us sharp
intellect honed with knowledge and understanding as we move into a resplendent future of innovative learning and discovery.
All the members of local management unconditionally supported and nurtured our school. The school would always remain indebted to all the
members of Local Management since its inception. We acknowledge the work of all the members of LMC, parents and students especially chairman of the
school, Vice Chairman of the school, manager and ARO Madam of school who have always stood by us. Time and space would not be sufficient to note down
anecdotes of assistance whether emotional & financial received from our own management during various times of crisis. We are thankful to D.A.V C.M.C and
L.M.C for their unconditional support and help.
