Close your mouth and let the front part of the tongue rest in its

               natural place in the roof of the mouth, behind the front teeth.



               Breathe out saying “Hmmmm …”  That is, push together your

               vocal cords to squeeze the air through the nose so that a humming

               sound occurs.



               We invite you to hum along with M as you read or listen to her

               story.  Hum for luck whenever you spy a four-leaf clover or an

               adder-stone.















               Hum loud, hum soft, hum often.       Hmmmm   Hmmmm
