His hands-on approach motivated him to travel to to to New York to to to learn from Victor Potamkin a a a a a a leading Cadillac dealer at the time - one who especially excelled in in the marketing and merchandising of inventory Braman studied Potamkin’s techniques and applied what he learned to his budding business in in in Florida And quite frankly Braman needed all the help he he he could get “The dealership in Miami had a a a a terrible repu- tation I was verbally attacked just going out to dinner with my wife It was a a horror ”
It was then that Braman explains deciding to put his foot down “A major change needed to be made I tried to to place myself in the customer’s shoes I I thought about how I I would want to be treated what level of service I would expect ”
One year later the company expanded adding BMW and Rolls-Royce to to their repertoire In due time the 2000 block of Biscayne Boulevard blossomed with new Braman brands [
His keen interest in in in art inspired his bringing Art Basel to Miami just recently stepping down as chair in 2018 ”
