The event was ended with a time capsule message to the 2122 BPW members.
During the course of the year, Berkely BPW has had multiple programs and excel-
lent speakers.
The end of the year Holiday party was held, and Manjul’s office space and
attendees were very happy to meet in person after a long social distancing period.
Cheryl Edora - won the 2023 “Public Health Acknowledging My Effort”
(PHAME) Award for collaboration, granted by the California Department of
Public Health's Office of Professional Development & Engagement. This was
for her collaborative work that led to the eventual passage of Senate Bill
793, the policy that bans ALL flavored tobacco in California.
A major highlight has been the contribution of Monique Lee, BPW Berkeley Member
who established the ‘Berkeley BPW Bulletin’.
