Dear Members
As we approach our Conference 2024 in Bristol, I would ask you all to watch our new
BPW UK website for any updates. The LinkedIn and Facebook pages also hold the most up
to date information on the confirmed speakers, all in a format easily shared with friends,
family, and colleagues. We have made the list of sessions varied, to allow us all to learn
something new, after all studies tell us that lifelong learning is so important.
My visit to Sofia in Bulgaria to visit the members of the Van for Chernihiv project
was both rewarding and draining. BPW Chernihiv President Yulia, Victoria, Vladislava, Ame-
lie, and I picked up the final jobs quickly and easily, as Bulgarian law required us to use a
notary to have the vehicle in the name of the BPW Club. Being together meant that we
could look at the electrical catalogues for the Honda generator, solar panels etc to make
sure we had the right specification and all the parts needed. Once the vehicle left us, it
would not be so easy to order and ship any missing parts.
