BPW UK is very proud to have a member that is now not just a part of the
BPW International Executive but was elected to be the first VP for the United Na-
tions, Neelima Basnet. VP Neelima is hoping to join us at our BPW AGM and Con-
ference 2025, hosted by SYNE members.

In December I was invited to strengthen the links with a new BPW Club,
Freeport Grand Bahama and install the club’s new executive in the presence of the
Bahamas Prime Minister’s wife, Anne Marie Davis, who has an official office, that of
the “ Prime Minister’s Spouse” (AnneMarieDavisAtTheInstallation) It was a great
joy to be able to share more about BPW and the work that we all do around the
globe, and to sign a pre-twinning agreement with the title of “Green and sustaina-
bility in business” as we look to write a project together. Once written, it will be
shared with the FEC, for UK approval, before ratification can begin with the IFBPW
Twinning Task Force Chair.

Our own Conference and AGM plans are continuing well, and I would like to
take this opportunity of thanking the conference 2025 Task Force for the work they
are currently doing. I will be able to share more with you very soon, as we are
waiting on final figures and acceptances from some quite exceptional speakers.
