MEMBERSHIP FEES 2024

The Membership Working Group and Federation Executive Committee have
been working with me reviewing our financial position over the last few years and
are considering it is now appropriate to increase our membership fees across the
board. Also, over 50% of renewals are coming in at more than the present fee so
our members are saying we are worth more!

As we are no longer restricted by COVID and have had a very successful hybrid
Annual Conference in Belfast this year we thought it appropriate to return to a pre-
covid style of charging. Therefore, our proposal is the following:
New Standard Membership - £80 per annum

Renewal Membership - £75 per annum

Student Membership - £40 per annum
So, there is still a differential on renewal as a thank you for your loyalty.
Obviously if members want to donate more, then that is still very acceptable to us.

‘Friend of’ will remain at £50 as it is not a membership category.

INTERNATIONAL / EUROPEAN DUES 2024

As you all know we pay annual affiliation fees to BPW International and BPW
st
Europe based on the number of members we have as of 31 December 2023. The
fee for BPW International is presently 23.20 Euro and for BPW Europe is 1.50 Euro.
We currently pay for 100 members regardless of how many members we have which
you, our membership, have authorised us to do.

We have 2 new members this year bringing our current membership level to
88 however we are also aware that there are 10 members that will not be renewing.

We will be inviting you all to join us electronically in October to discuss these
matters further, in the meantime please email on hq@bpwuk.org.uk or write to us
at the office with your views.
