girls_'" is the Easy-to-read version of our manifesto. It summarises, in a simple way, key
information so that all people can understand EWL’s demands and highlights the situation of
women and girls in Europe as well as what should be done to defend and protect the rights

2024 Gender Equality Call for Proposals
Opening date: 12 December 2023
Deadline: 29 February 2024
Minimum budget: 100 000€
The EU is encouraging Women’s Rights organisations to submit projects, within two
different priorities. Under the first priority “Tackle root causes of the gender care gap by
promoting a gender transformative approach and challenging gender stereotypes”, projects
may be national or transnational, but must involve at least TWO
applicants. Eligible activities include designing new approaches, capacity building, exchang-
es of best practices, dissemination and awareness raising.
The second priority is “Support the implementation of the Pay Transparency
Directive.” Eligible activities include the development of guidance and tools for the assess-
ment of equal pay for equal work, training programmes, promoting gender-neutral job eval-
uation systems, and monitoring the implementation of the concept of equal value. Find out
