registered parks and gardens, capital works, revenue or annual works, detailed
design proposals, planning applications or commercial development are not
eligible.

HR Essentials
HR Essentials is a West of England Mayoral Combined Authority initiative,
delivered by Cool Ventures and HR Dept. The programme provides businesses
across the region with access to fully-funded expert HR advice and guidance.
To be eligible for support from HR Essentials, SMEs (including businesses,
charities and social enterprises) need to be based within Bath and North East
Somerset, Bristol or South Gloucestershire and have a minimum turnover of
£100,000 and a minimum of 3 employees.
Eligible businesses will be able to access:
• an HR documentation audit - a thorough review of your
existing HR strategies, policies, and procedures, with an actionable plan
for improvement
• 12 hours of bespoke 1-to-1 HR support to help you implement your
action plan and improve practices
• themed workshops covering key HR topics to address challenges and
enhance the organisation’s HR knowledge
