Secretary Winans reported as of 9:45 a.m. 17 voting board members present including
four officers.
QUORUM:
President Anne Marie declared a quorum present.
STANDING RULES and AGENDA:
With no objection President Anne Marie declared both documents approved emailed.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ACTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS:
Secretary Winans reported these Executive Committee Actions/Recommendations:
• reimbursement of $78.81 for the purchase of the CFBPW Screen, $197 for Trudy
Waldroop’s registration refund, and, with presentation of the invoice of $139.49, for
Bessie Hironimus’ purchase of camera, mic and hookups for hybrid meetings.
• ratification of Sandy Thompson as Parliamentarian.
• ratification of her appointments to Standing and Special (as per attached).
• meeting vendor fees be set at $50/table or rack for BPW members and $75/table or rack
for non-members.
• authorization to move funds to a higher yield CD.
• Zoom registration for non-CFBPW members be waived.
• Set up officer and chair email addresses using @bpwcal.org.
• Establish a CFBPW Merchant Credit Card Account.
• Recommend to the Board of Directors these 2025-2025 meeting dates and locations:
Fall Board-October 5, 2024 at the Burbank Courtyard.
Winter Board/Public Policy Conference-February 21-22, 2025 in Sacramento.
Annual Conference-May 16-18, 2025 at the Burbank Courtyard.
• Recommend to the Board of Directors that the Board of Directors consider forwarding
BPW California North District recommended edits to the NFBPWC Advocacy Platform
to NFBPWC.
• Recommend to the Board of Directors opening a Constant Contact account.
• Recommend to the Board of Directors establishing a CFBPW Zoom account.
• Recommend to the Board of Directors that CFBPW sponsor the NFBPWC Biennial
Conference for $500.
