CALL TO ORDER:
President Anne Marie Johnson called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m.

WELCOME:
President Anne Marie welcomed those attending in person and via Zoom.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America was led by Valley
Sunset District President Rosemary Enzer.

INSPIRATION:
The morning’s inspiration was provided by Past State President Lynn Brandstater.

SPECIAL REMARKS:
President Johnson asked Immediate Past President, Maria DeSousa, to share her thoughts
as the new Immediate Past State President. Maria thanked the board for their support of
her and their dedication to the Federation.

INTRODUCTIONS:
President Anne Marie presented the 2024-2025 Executive Committee –
President-elect Sher Singh, Secretary Katherine Winans, Treasurer Denise
Luckhurst who was unable to join us, Parliamentarian, Sandy Thompson, and
herself as CFBPW President.
She then recognized those serving at the International and National Federation levels:
Bessie Hironimus, Immediate Past Executive Secretary,
Sher Singh, Chair of the Arts & Culture Committee and also serving as Chair of
the National Federation’s Justice, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee,
Sandy Thompson, NFBPW Immediate Past President,
Trudy Waldroop, NFBPWC Bylaws & Resolutions Chair,
Manjul Batra, NFBPW Nominations Chair.
She then presented CFBPW Past State Presidents in attendance -
Bessie Hironimus, also serving as BPW California North District President and
Handbook Chair.
Barbara J Davis, also serving as Livelong Leadership & Learning Chair and
member of the CFBPW Ed Fund Board of Directors.
Manjul Batra, also serving and Small Business Chair.
Sandy Thompson, also serving the CFBPW Ed Fund Board of Directors.
Linda Wilson, also serving as CFBPW Webmaster.
Katherine Winans also serving as CFBPW Meetings Coordinator and
Member Records.
Rosemary Enzer also serving as President of Valley Sunset District,
Program/Project Chair, and President of the CFBPW Ed Fund.
