President’s Message
Respect Tradition *** Embrace Change
Tradition provides us with stability and a sense of belonging. One of our BPW
traditions is gathering together as members of the Board of Directors to make deci-
sions for the future of our organization, to report on our progress, to share ideas,
and to enjoy the fellowship of our BPW family. Fall Board is one of those times.
Four years ago we embraced change. We learned how to conduct our meet-
ings using Zoom. Then we transitioned to the hybrid model. Some members meet
on Zoom and others join us online. By utilizing this model, speakers who cannot be
with us in person have the opportunity to join us via Zoom.
Elections can be a time of uncertainty. That is why the emphasis of the Fall
Board programming centers on the election and voting. We will not tell you how or
who to vote for but give you information and tools that will better allow you to make
your own decisions.
