Our history and charge to empower working women is what
inspires us to work toward a better future. We encourage members
to participate at our national events. Please accept this special invi-
tation to join us and continue celebrating this monumental anniver-
sary in Sacramento, CA at our biennial General Assembly.

NFBPWC has a strong membership focused on reclaiming,
flourishing, and growing our national organization. Our leaders have
a dedicated sense of service to our members – welcoming them, in-
cluding them, and creating an equitable space for all. Our national
organization was founded in service to this idea 103 years ago. De-
spite having to meet virtually these past years on Zoom due to the
time of COVID, we are still able to celebrate each other. Our dynam-
ic response to this pandemic has allowed us to connect locally, na-
tionally, and internationally as we continue to grow.
I would like to personally invite each of you to participate with
NFBPWC as we continue our pursuit to engage our members in inno-
vative ways. Together we are stronger. We have been sharing pro-
grams that highlight our commitment to our focus issue for this term
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - while continuing to push forward
the goals of our robust national advocacy platform. Our events are
intended to welcome all members and to help us grow together.
Congratulations again on your Centennial Celebration! As
President of NFBPWC, I look forward to working with Berkeley BPW
on joint projects and efforts. I envision a BPW that is a beacon of
light for all working women. Let us light the path for our future so
that we may illuminate the path for others along our way.
