“Yeah, John is very good. Very, very good. But I temper him, which is pretty amazing isn’t it? But that’s okay. He says something and I temper it. You know, like I tell him to temper it. I mean I have John Bolton and some other people who are little more dovish. You know, those little white birds that fly. Ultimately, I decide who flies.”
Mr. President, are you looking forward to hosting the Boston
Red Sox?
“You know, it’s interesting. Puerto Rico — just so you understand, we gave Puerto Rico $91 billion for the hurricane. That’s the largest amount of money ever given to any state — talking about states and Puerto Rico, a little different — $91 billion. Texas got $30. Florida got $12. Puerto Rico got $91 billion. So I think the people of Puerto Rico should really like President Trump. The Boston Red Sox do.”
Mr. President, sir, will you follow through on your plan to increase tariffs on Chinese goods later today?
“Now the Democrats are trying to stiff Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Louisiana, and give even MORE money to Puerto Rico. I’m trying to get more money for America by making the Chinese pay higher tariffs, which they have owed us for a very long time. The first tariffs sent our economy soaring, and made a lot of people very, very rich. This second batch will make a lot of people even richer. I’m doing that. The Democrats aren’t doing that. They are very divisive people. All they care about is Puerto Rico. Thank you very much.”
