philosophy and international politics, I landed in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication where I met Virginia Harris, an outstanding teacher, devoted mentor and brilliant advertising professional.
Ginny’s talent for connecting academia with the real world — downtown — was legendary. Over the course
of her professional and teaching careers, she touched the lives of countless colleagues and students, opening their eyes to a world in which possibilities and opportunities were boundless.
Looking back, I was a lucky and very grateful recipient.
