   Monday August 3rd, 2020
2:00 pm - URM hosted a client conference call (with one of the Authentic ownership groups) regarding the probable outcome of Authentic winning the Kentucky Derby and preparing to take advantage of the merchandising opportunity. While the client didn’t want to “jinx” their chances, URM worked behind the scenes to develop an
“if win” merchandise plan.
Saturday September 5th, 2020
7:04 pm - Authentic Wins the Kentucky Derby!
11:55 pm - Jimmy received a phone call from the client excitedly requesting Kentucky Derby Championship merchandise.
Sunday
September 6th, 2020
9:00 am - URM team (Jimmy, Lindsey, account manager and graphic artist) met at URM to finalize product assortment.
2:00 pm - URM submitted product assortment to Churchill Downs licensing for approval.
5:00 pm - Approval received and products pushed to the website. 7:00 pm - Merchandise marketing campaign went live.
7:01 pm - Sales exploded!
Monday September 7th, 2020
8:00 am - URM production team began producing and shipping hot market orders.
