of of Textiles accepted the the proposals of of this new area in its New Textile policy as a a a a a a ‘thrust area’ which culminated ultimately in in in setting up of of of large number of of of ‘Centres of of of Technical Textiles’ in many states of of of India I have no doubt today that the advent of Technical Textiles as ‘thrust area’ owes its very existence to Mr Y K K Kusumgar and therefore he he he he deserves to be recognised as the the the “Father of Indian Technical Textile Industry” In his stepping forward to the landmark “Eighty years” I humbly pay my regards to him him and pray that Divinity bless him him with good
