Who are they?

Sturdy Products Ltd. is a company based in
Blessington, Co. Wicklow. They specialise in
rotationally moulded products and produce over
three hundred different products in many diverse
fields. They are the only company in Ireland with
the facilities to mould up to four meters in length
and with a capacity of 10,000 litres.
The main market sectors that they mainly
trade in would be Environmental, Construction,
Domestic, Agricultural & Equestrian, Rainwater
Harvesting and Custom Moulding.

What do they want?

Sturdy Products want students to understand and
design for rotational moulding. We were challenged to
design a product that would be suitable for rotational
moulding and also take into account the market range.
Could it sell? Each of us was given an area in a few
of their market sectors where we researched and
developed concepts for Sturdy.
We were challenged to push boundaries and
come up with the most innovative solutions.
