Easy Difficulty

For the easy difficulty model of the red

dot project, I chose to create the PLAATO

Keg on solidworks. PLAATO Keg is an in-

novative all-in-one management system

for kegs, which enables the user to call

up in real time the important key data of a

keg, such as the filling level and tempera-

ture. Three synchronised load cells con-

tinuously measure the weight of the keg

and transmit the data to the smartphone

via Wi-Fi. This considerably simplifies

complex keg management in the gastron-

omy sector, as the app provides a com-

prehensive overview of all kegs integrat-

ed into the system.
