HOW THE WALKING STICK WORKS
They are five parts of the system:
Lidar sensors scan the ground from side to side with a pulse laser
beam as the user walks, the sensor has a detector for sensing the
returns from objects. Gps receivers track the altitude and location SENARIO 1:
of the user (with the product) these variables are vital in registering In an event where there is an obstacle

with its user as the walk. Elevation calculations use orientation to
accurately determine the actual position of the pulse on the ground.
Computers record all the height information as the lidar scan the
surface. These five parts of Lidar system, work as a team to generate
highly accurate and useable results which it transfers to the haptic
feedback sensors to alert the user of obstacles.

elevation like ground, forest and buildings. Lidar uses ultraviolet
Visible or near Infrared source to sense objects. Light energy
emitted by lidar system is known as pulse.Light reflected from
ground or objects is known as return.Lidar system send a pulse of
light and wait for the pulse to return, it measures how long it takes
for the emitted pulse to return to the sensor and it gets a variable
distance of the objects.Lidar system allows use to examine both
natural and man-made environment with accuracy and precision SENARIO 3:

transmitter vibrates to alert the use.
