Redesign Project
In this brief we have been asked to purchase a hand held
electrical item. The product must be less than 180mm
long, 130mm tall and 50mm thick but have a minimum
wall thickness of 1.5mm.
This product is to be analysed using tools like SWOT and
ACCESS FM. These procesess will be displayed in the
coming pages.
Once the analysis has been completed, we are required to
select two problem areas from either:
User (US/UI/Ergonomics).
Specification (Material Finish/Process/Assesmbly).
Design (detailing/aesthetic/marketing position).
having identified these problem areas, we must come up
with a solution to solve them.
The project was handed up in the form of a verbal
presentation infront of the class.
