BEN ABOUT
AUTISTIC MALE Ben is a 23 year old male with autism. Ben lives at home with his
parents and two siblings. Ben goes to his day service 5 days a
week. Where he has the opportunity to develop
Emotionally and physically.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Ben loves animals and Dinosaurs in particular. He has numerous
animal toys and teddy’s. Ben finds toys and teddy’s stimulating,
as they have bright colours and tactile textures, which are great
stimulation for people with autism.
KEY ISSUES
Ben struggles with independancy. He often has to be asked to do
simple tasks numerous times, even though he has the ability to
complete these tasks, he struggles to initiate and follow through
without frequent prompting from his parents and carers.
