The Motorola StarTAC was
introduced in 1996 and was a
revolutionary mobile phone
which changed the landscape of
telecommunication.

It was the world’s first clamshell
mobile phone, Featuring a
compact design and innovative
features.

While the original starTAC came
in a limited range of colours ,
Motorola later introduced
multicolour versions to cater to
a broad range of consumers.
