After researching both the selected Designer icon and the selected
company, the sketching phase then began. In this phase is was
the goal to look at the overall form which would best represent
both the Designer and the Company in the best way.

Sketching started with very basic block forms and the aim was to cut
away to create the most organic form possible which was
inspired by a previous form benchmark board found in the portfolio.

It was important too that while looking for an organic form, that the
shape come to would have to make sense and work as a speaker
product in relation to sound qaulity and balance on surfaces.

2 Product Design & Innovation Year 4 2020/2021

Once a form direction was chose,n I then brought this shape forward
and began adding subtle typical features of speakers today to see
if it would all t together nicely and easy on the eye.

The Two sketches outlined in Blue are the Two form I was con dent
with by the end of this sketch sheet but was concerned in relation to
the amount of space I would have to work with for internals and
housings.
