  You Can’t Predict The Future
BWut You Can Plan For It!
ouldn’t it be nice to know exactly what’s going to happen in the future? You could sidestep every mistake and/or accident and know exactly
what to do at exactly the right time. However, that reality does not exist. Although we can’t predict the future with complete accuracy, we definitely
can plan for it.
Having spent two decades in the financial planning and investment management
business, I’ve learned a number of lessons through experience. It is by watching others and learning from their positive steps and missteps that we can better plan
for our own futures.
My passion to help others become financially confident stems from my
childhood. I grew up in the inner city, the third child of immigrant parents from Chile, and I saw how hard they worked and yet still found time to help
others. I saw how disciplined savings and planning not only gave me a sense of security and confidence in an environment that often didn’t feel safe, but also
helped to give me a vision or goal that it was possible to move beyond humble beginnings and help others.
I’m inspired to help others ease their financial stress through planning. Financial stress is a major concern, especially for women. Women tend
to earn less than men and often are caretakers and tend to take time off or work reduced hours meaning they earn even less. Saving for retirement falls
down the priority ladder, yet women tend to live longer than men so saving for retirement is vitally important.
I encourage you to be proactive and start learning about your personal finances. I
write a weekly newsletter called IN FOCUS that helps inform and educate clients as well as a monthly newsletter dedicated to empowering women. One client recently emailed me, “I really want you to know that I appreciate you staying in contact and
finding creative solutions to keeping me interested and feeling like I count. Thank you.”
My team and I manage more than money – we help you manage through life’s unexpected changes. Contact me to receive the newsletter and begin gaining
financial confidence and empowerment.
