hy would you, a woman, buy a plumbing and heating company at your age?” Too funny, but that’s exactly what one of my girlfriends asked me when I purchased Capital Plumbing &
Heating August 31, 2019. It was a great question and she was curious. I had raised two awesome kids on my own and they both have great spouses. I have five of the best grandkids; a job that I loved and my own home, friends and activities I enjoy and have worked really hard for years to reach this point. I could travel, golf, relax and retire – or could I? Did I want to? Definitely NO.
I have worked in the industry over a dozen years, with another company for five of those before I moved over to become the
General Manager at Capital. I was so very fortunate to work for/
with Gregg who owned the company. We taught each other a lot
over the years and when he was ready to move on to new challenges knowing that I would take care of his legacy, made it possible. Both of us feel the same about taking care of the people we worked with and the clients we served and did not want to have that change.
Capital Plumbing & Heating is a customer service company and we happen to do plumbing, HVAC and Air conditioning.

All true statements and I work hard to ensure that everything we do at Capital supports these words. I am thrilled and inspired by what each and every person who works with me can do, has done and what they are still capable of doing.
It makes me happy to teach them something new and to hear from customers who have enjoyed every interaction with any or all of them. Our group culture is amazing. I will know that I have been a success when I can help them succeed.
